Hanging Stars
on thirsty Skies,
the handpicked Dreams
basking in the Moonlight.

like dancing
on the surface of a Midnight sky
as insects kiss the Water Lilies.
Mesmerized by the Light
emitted by Dreamers,
we witness
the Universe unfold before us.
We're offered the Sun

We, cats, will have the Night

Want
This is the time of night when I want you the most.
It's after you've gone to sleep,
and I'm sitting here alone again.
I want to not have to worry
about anyone other than you seeing my scars
when I get up in the middle of the night.
I want you grinning playfully at me,
as I sit on the counter, feet dangling off the edge.
I want you to pick me up,
wrap my legs around you

This Could Be Everything
If I were honest,
I'd tell you that I would never take
More than you were willing to give. Even though every
Part of me craved what you weren't willing to offer.
I'd tell you that sometimes,
I get this overwhelming urge to bite down on your lips
Hard enough to draw blood so I can show you
What heartache feels like at three o'clock in the morning.
I'd tell you how jealous I am
That you can count on both hands the number of people
That love you, while I'm still trying to learn
How to love myself.
I'd tell you that most days
I can't handle waking up in pieces
When it seems you've got yourself so together.
I'd tell you that I love

Somebody to...
...It's like a thousand years ago,
I was some kind of emperor...
I sat in royal palace room.
While looking to a fragile mirror.
Devoted servants, guards around.
They do whatever I require.
They know My Everything, I think
But they will never say a word.
If only I could get somebody,
To celebrate my kingdom coming.
To break my loneliness forever.
To realize my human nature.
To be my queen in time of days.
And be my lover through the nights.
I had to travel back in time
To understand this simple thing

this was inspired by something I heard in "Mouryou no Hako" : "..we,cats, will have the night instead" (also the last two lines of the poem).
Though, they now have a somewhat different meaning
